We made the drive from Mendoza to Penitentes, 3 hours away. It is a beautiful ski resort in the mountains. We did a training hike to 9,800 feet from 9,100. A great walk up the hill. Tomorrow we head to the trail head and we start our journey. Will communicate with the sat phone as we move up.
